Port City Men's BC Weekly News Report


Port City Men's Bowling Club news report for the week ending Sunday 18th August.
 
Wednesday pm :-$15 R Thompson & I Binder  $10 D Lomas, W Francis & C Thornton  $7 G Haldane, I Handley & B Crutcher.

Thursday am. :- Winners D Gudgeon & G Carmody

Thursday pm :- $15 R Redhead & P Ascott-Evans  $10 F Rauch & T Smith . $7 F Williams & K Taylor.  K Tonkin & B Dugdale  tried for the $524  jackpot but chose the wrong number. Jackpot rolls on next week and will be about $600, good luck bowlers.

Friday pm :  $15  R Redhead & R Osborn $10  G Lees & J Rielly .$7 J Boys & M White.   The Jackpot of $600 was not won by AJ Uptin & W Harding, bad luck boys. Next week the jackpot $600 and only 8 numbers .

Saturday pm.:-  $15 :- T Newell & J Rock,  $10 :- C Banks & T Millward. $7 :- N Schwatrz & N Schwartz.  The $518 jackpot went to J  Carn & K Taylor who chose lucky number 5.

Sunday Mixed Triples :- 78 Bowlers:- $ 15:- J Milnes, N Schwartz & J Munson  $10:- S Reid, L Sutherland & F Sutherland  $7:-  M Green, Z Akmens & T Field
Lucky Envelopes :- D Stone,E Jenkins, L Bishell, J Scholz & A Wellings . 
Raffle Winners  1st   L Bishelll  2nd   J O’Brien  3rd. K Stengel.
The jackpot next week is $120.

Minor Singles Final :- In a hard fought final, Ed Dasczyk was victorious over Steve Matheson 31-25.
LNCDBA District Champion Of Champion Singles:-  Some good bowls were on display over the weekend with  S Globits winning the hard final beating P Taylor  31-27.
