Port City Men's Bowling Club news report for the week end Sunday 19 August.

Wednesday pm :- 96 Bowlers enjoyed a game of Bowls on this warm almost summers day with the day winners :- $15 J.Rock ,I.Handley & B.Crutcher.$10 A.Wellings , M.Riley & N.Bryce .

Thursday am :-$10 M.Norman & R.Kean  $7 H.Durrant & B.Owens.

 Mixed Pairs Championship :- G & W Greenaway def J.Barry & C.Bellenger .

Thursday pm :- 72 Bowlers played in warm conditions with the day winners being :- $15 M.Glasse     & Barry Smith .  $10 R.Hawkins & J.Burge .The jackpot of $276 was not  won by B.Collis & W.Kempster.

Friday am  :- $15 J.Boys & J.Robinson $10 B.Keats & P.Flanagan.The jackpot of $475 was not won by R.Holihan and J.Milnes .

Saturday am :- $10 C.Daniels & P.Light  $7 F.Fairbrother , M.Doyle & B.Hodgson .

Saturday pm :-$15 D.Lomas & R.Trow $10 D.Smith & T.Scholz .The jackpot of $122 was not won by R.Osborn & C.Halls .

Upcoming Events:- The draw and scheduled dates of play for the 2012 Mixed Pairs Championship is on the notice board. Teams are advised that they may play their matches before the scheduled date of play by mutual agreement and with the consultation of the bowls office.

The Prestige Championship Mixed Fours is now open and Closes on the 1^st of September so get your teams in.
