Wednesday pm :- $15.00 J.Piola, M.Hookham & B.Richardson.$10.00 G.Probert & J.Rossiter .
The final of the 2012 Major/Minor singles was played this afternoon with AJ.Uptin & Alan White adapting better in the windy and the free running greens defeated Keith Ashdown & Frank Smith 22-17. Man of the match was the in form AJ.
Thursday pm :- 92 Bowlers played in windy conditions with the day winners being :- $15.00 AJ. Uptin & C.Thornton. $10.00 D.Lomas & J.Faddy.The Jackpot of $164.00 was not won by M.Hookham & D.Emmanuel.
Friday :- There was no social bowls today due to the greens being used for roll-ups for the grade 7 Pennant State teams.
Next Friday10th August jackpot pairs will be conducted from 9-00 a.m. instead of starting at 1-00 p.m. This is to accommodate another major bowls event at Port City namely the RNSWBA “7” A Side State Junior Championships where the greens will be required for roll ups in the afternoon.
Upcoming Events :- 11th and 12th August The RNSWBA Seven “A” Side State Junior Championships.
The draw and scheduled dates of play for the 2012 Mixed Pairs Championship is on the notice board. Teams are advised that they may play their matches before the scheduled date of play by mutual agreement and with the consultation of the bowls office.
