Report Weekending 10th June 2019
It’s been a very busy week with our Winter Carnival on Tuesday 4th June and our 1st round of the club Fours Championships on Friday 7th June 2019.
The Carnival was a great success this year with teams from all over attending and we would like to thank them all for coming but sorry we couldn’t give you better weather as we had to call the day off after lunch but we hope to see you come back again.
The first round of the Fours Championship was played on Friday 7th June with better weather conditions and the results to date are W Byers, J Blackler, L Watson and A Innes defeating M Simmonds, R Jones, V Hamilton and J Howard, then L Thompson, J Roberts, D Fischer and A Wilson defeated P Begley, J Grimshaw, R Hancox and S Proctor, then M Dewson, P Saddler, F Brassey and K Jobson defeated Y Howard, P Monaghan, J Wilson and B Barker, and then P O’Brien, S Malzard, A Todd and A Pritchard defeated L Lawson, R Bateman, E Fuller and L Mathews.
