What a day it was on Wednesday to open the new grass green with 70 plus bowlers it made for a great afternoon a big thank you to Brendon and his crew for producing a wonderful surface to play on the winning rink went to Brian Milton, Rob Edwards and Gary the machine Hamilton and the runner up loot went to Brian Davies, Henry Reynolds, Stewart Rogan and Frank Raczka.
Friday jackpot triples and scooting out the door was Reggie Robb, Trevor Robb and Dean Gemmell, in the runner up slot was Leslie Faulstone, Rob Edwards and Terry Stringer. Voucher winners were Barrie Isaac, Bob Sims, Wayne Thrussell and John Hilton.
One game in the triples on Saturday afternoon Dave Jones, John Gemmell and Brian Charters def Leslie Faulstone, Rob Edwards and Terry Stringer.
A note from Stewart for the travelling bowlers for their trip to Tuncurry on the 14th of July morning tea at 8.30am start 9am could those intending to go please put your name on the sheet on the board.
Monday the 1st of July is the monthly pairs open to all bowlers 9am start uniform dress all welcome.
Wednesday social and Saturday cashpot triples are the bowls this week names in by 11.30 12.30 start both days mufti dress all welcome.
