One semi-final in the major singles has been decided with Mick Stuttard to play Dean Gemmell the other semi – final there is still one game to be played Bill O’Donnell to play Charles Doyle with the winner of that game to play Brian Charters for a place in the final.

Wednesday social and a good day for Mick Stuttard winning the rink prize, the runner up dosh went to Steve McGregor, Bruce Fletcher and Rod Sutton. Vouchers winners were Bob Sims, Peter Laing, Terry Stringer, Chicka Thompson, Pat O’Connor and James Race.

The Friday Jackpot is still in the bank and growing all the time and is now worth $378 on the 14th of June. Rink winners were Gary Hamilton, Ian Poole and John Gemmell, the runner up prize went to John Hilton, Bruce Fletcher and Mick Ashford. Voucher winners were Rob Edwards, Ian Poole, Mick Stuttard and Frosty.

Just a reminder for those that have put their teams in for the Classic Fours could you please put your full team in and it also shows that you have a full side for the event.

Coming up on the Saturday the 13th of July will be the Kew Country Club Memorial Bowls Day starting at 9am featuring the Ken Kinman Shield 2 games of 15 ends 3 bowl triples entry fee of $60 per team that includes a sit down lunch. First $600, 2nd $300, 3rd $150 and 4th $90. Lucky draw $60, $2 entry into the $200 Hancox/ Jack shootout players bowl diagonally across the green to a jack in the far corner the winner to take all.

Wednesday social and Saturday cashpot triples are the bowls this week names in by 11.30 12.30 start both days mufti dress all welcome.
