The Presentation night and Christmas party was a great success with prizes and entertainment to keep the 110 happy revelers entertained firstly the championship awards major singles Barrie Isaac winner Charles Doyle runner up, major pairs Brian Charters and Phil Collins winners Gary Cheers and Gary Hamilton runners up, minor singles Dave Napper winner Pat O’Connor runner up, triples Terry Duff, Charles Doyle and Barrie Isaac, runners up Kevin Wholohan, Gary Hamilton and Mick Stuttard, major fours Howard Burrows, John Gemmell, Mick Ashford and Barrie Isaac, runners up John Hilton, Bob Sims, Paul Hancox and Pat O’Connor, major minor winners Leslie Faulstone and Charles Doyle runners up Frank Raczka and Terry Miles and mixed pairs winners Jean Donald and Bill O’Donnell runners up Leonie Murphy and Dean Gemmell most improved Adrian Hilton, most consistent Paul Hancox. Congratulations to all.

With no expense spared all the way from Dunbogan to Lakewood the entertainment was provided by The Wrong Bias Big Band ably led by Dave Herman, Charles Doyle, Frank Raczka and Peter Laing on guitars with the harmony provided by Gary Martin, Chicka Thompson, Mark Hammond, Eddie McPhee and Doug Long. We had two special guests one all the way from the North Pole and all the way from the old dart Mrs Brown aka Jeff Nichols and last but certainly not least was the wonderful meal provided by the chefs in the kitchen and the band of workers who got the meals out to all the hungry guests to Tim and Co behind the bar who kept us all hydrated.
There were six very happy bowlers who played on rink 19 Wednesday afternoon after picking the winners  prize and the runner up prize Frank Raczka, Ian Hodgkinson and Dave Napper picked up winning money and Ian Hilton, Warren Bates and Terry Stringer got the runner up money. Vouchers went to Jeff Nichols, Tony Austin, Barrie Isaac and Rob Edwards.

Wednesday social and Friday jackpot triples are the bowls this week names in by 11.30 12.30 start both days mufti dress all welcome.
