Dress code for social bowls is club uniform/creams or clean smart casual, with collared shirt, neat shorts/slacks.

Pennant Results for Saturday 18th April, Round 6

Grade 1- continuing their good form Won 69-59, 2) L 47-56, 3) W 63-50, 4) W 87-42. 5) W 62-55, 6) L 59.48, 7/1 W71-48, 7/2) W 73-38. At the time of going to press the results of Sunday round 7 were not available. Check zone 14 web site for full details .

Best wishes to Kevin Atkins who has gone down to Newcastle for further tests. Good to see Joey Judge making a return to pennants.

Forward events; Tuesday May 12th to Thursday 14th May is the 2 bowl handicap triples tournament and on Friday 19th June to Sunday 21st June the Grade 6 & 7 2 bowl triples. Both these tournaments are very popular and carry substantial prize money. Put your teams in early to secure a start. Flyers are available at the club.

Free coaching is available on Saturday and Sunday mornings ( bowls provided). Just turn up at 10 am.

Social Bowls

Wednesday:- Winners: Winners: J. Boys-C. Halls- T. Cornforth. This is the third Wednesday in a row for this formable threesome. Consolation: R. Kaper- T. Murray

Thursday:- Winners:-  J. Sharp-K. Atkins. Consolation: P. Gilligan-T. Cornforth. Adrian Fakes missed the jackpot.

Friday:- Winners: T. Robinson-B. Greenaway. Consolation: D. Callanan-G. Barnes. “Irish” Robinson missed the jackpot

Sunday:- No play due to damp greens. Next Sunday 26th there will be a BBQ at 12pm followed by mixed triples. Cost is $10 per person. Jackpot $180.
