News from Port City

The news report from the Port City Men's Bowling Club is now available for the week ending Sunday 5th April 2015 thanks to Colin Halls.

Dress code for social bowls is club uniform/creams or clean smart casual, with collared shirt, neat shorts/slacks

Club Championships;-

The minor pairs championship was decided last Tuesday and in a cliff hanger Matty Bayes and Mitch McCann defeated Dales Smith and Dave Moxon 18-17

Entries are open for the major pairs and close Saturday April 18th at 5pm.

Forward events; Tuesday May 12th to Thursday 14th May is the 2 bowl handicap triples tournament and on Friday 19th June to Sunday 21st June the Grade 6 & 7 2 bowl triples. Both these tournaments are very popular and carry substantial prize money. Put your teams in early to secure a start. Flyers are available at the club.

Free coaching is available on Saturday and  Sunday mornings ( bowls provided). Just turn up at 10 am.
