The last question concerned the action to be taken if it was discovered, after the first bowl had been delivered, that the jack and the mat were both on the wrong line.Well done to the majority who indicated that the mat only should be moved to the correct line. Law 19.2 indicated that after the start of play, if the mat is off the centre line, it should be moved to that line.
Law 22.7 prevents you from moving the jack - "After the first player to play has delivered the first bowl no-one has the right to challenge the legality of the original position of the jack".
