President
Barbara announced that the entry sheets for District Events are on the board
and will close on 15th November.
The Pennant
Sheet is also on the board and will be taken down on 22nd October.Westport is holding a Think Pink Day on Sunday 29th September in aid of the Hastings Cancer Trust. The cost will be $10 per player and this includes lunch and hire of bowls if needed.
Kew is
holding a 2 Bowl Triples Event on 2nd October.
From 12th
– 19th October the State championship Play-offs will be played at
Tuncurry and we will be represented by Pat Light and Jennifer Munson, who will
play in the State Pairs. Congratulations and good luck to you both.
Pink Panther
Day will be held 23rd October at Port Panthers.
The
North Haven Triples Carnival will be held 28th October.
Kew is
holding their Under 6 Years Encouragement Day on 12th November. This
is a great opportunity for any of our newer bowlers. We are sure you would have
a great time and enjoy the experience.

few birthday girls who celebrated birthdays this week, namely Betty Hall, Jan
Drewsen, Jenny Devitt, Pat Murphy and a very special Happy Birthday to Jan
Creak who turned 80 on 24th September.Our best wishes go out to Dot Gibbs, Margaret Aird, Ingrid Code and any other of our members who are unwell at this time and we wish for a speedy return to bowls.
Shirley and
Margaret will be holding their Training Circuit as usual this Friday at 10.00
am.
