CONGRATULATIONS

To Carol Bowman and Pat Morrison on winning the Major/Minor Pairs  Congratulations also to Gail Carmody and Denise Gudgeon on a very close game. Gail and Denise were Runner-up in 2012. Well done and better luck next time.
COCA COLA TRIPLES WINNERS

The Coca Cola Triples was held at our club on 26th and 27th August.

The clubs that participated were Port City, Lake Cathie, Park Beach, Tuncurry, Tuncurry Sports, Old Bar, Westport, Panthers, Kew and a visitor from South Australia.

 Congratulations to our Grade1 and Grade 2 Pennant Teams on their stellar performances at the State Pennants Play-off 12th to 15th August at Port Stephens.
            Grade 1 went down 2 shots overall and Grade 2 went down by 1 shot overall.

UPCOMING EVENTS

Minor Singles opened last Tuesday 27th August. Don’t forget to enter this event.

 Daffodil Day will be held at our club on Tuesday 17th September.

 MORNING TEA

 We were pleased to welcome the following ladies at our August Non-playing Members Morning Tea - Rosemary Aylett, Marianne Smith, Betty O’Brien, Marie Bignell, Val Grambau, Gwen Turner, Beryl Young, Irene Turner and a special welcome to a first timer, Dorothy Gibbs.

Our condolences to Pat Morrison and family on the recent death of her mother.

    INAUGURAL CITY VERSUS COUNTRY
On Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th August our Club held the Inaugural City versus Country Match. There was great camaraderie and Country won overall by 20 shots.
