We congratulate our No 1 and No 2 Grade Pennant Winners last week for winning the Regional Play-off at Wingham. These two teams will now compete at Port Stephens for the State title.
The weather was great on Tuesday 25th June for our Out of Hat Triples. Winners were as follows: - Morning Game – Karen McFarlane, Maureen Scholz and Eleanore Russell. Afternoon Game – Carol Bowman, Fay Walsh and Rhonda Evans.
Overall 4th Place Winners Mary Bennett, Dulcie Holihan and Pat Morrison.
Overall 3rd Place Winners – Ann Kirk, Gail Carmody and Trish Mitchell.
Overall 2nd Place Winners Debbie Amor, Joy Barry and Zelle Cook.
Overall 1st Place Winners – Shirley Devine, Grace Greenaway and Daphne Sumsky.
Raffle Winners – 1st Carol Bowman, 2nd – Rose Edwards
70’s Club Winners – 1st - Betty Hodgson, 2nd – Pam Ditchfield, 3rd Lorraine Conroy.
Next Tuesday there will be a jacket sale - $55 each.
On Thursday 27th June Carol White will compete at Westport in the Regional Singles Play-off at Westport. We encourage all members to come to Westport to cheer her on.
From 1st – 5th July the Champion of Club Champion Pairs will be held at Warilla and we wish Margaret Walsh and Shirley Devine all the best.
Major/Minor Pairs will close on 2nd July and will commence on 16th July.
Tuesday 2nd July will be the start of the Club Triples.
Our AGM will be held at 9.00am on Monday 15th July at the club. We encourage all members to nominate for positions. We are particularly short of volunteers in the kitchen.
Westport Gala Day will be held on 25th July.
