Margaret Edwards stood in for
President Barbara today.
Hastings Haven District Triples were
held last week and Port City’s team of Robyn Hehir, Shirley Devine and Margaret
Walsh made it through to the finals held at North Haven Bowling Club on
Thursday.
Unfortunately they came up against a strong team from Lake Cathie and
lost the final.
Although they didn't win the title, we are very proud of our ladies
making it so far.
The Open District Fours commenced today and will continue for the rest
of the week. Results next week.
There were not many social bowlers
today as warm weather had been predicted, but I think all the ladies enjoyed
themselves.

Day Mixed Triples to be played on Saturday 26th January. Dress is casual,
preferably with an Australian Theme.
Cost is $36/team and there will be
lots of prizes.
Arrive at 9.00 am for Damper and
Billy Tea and play commences at 10.00 am.
