Autumn has certainly brought us some beautiful weather and it was no exception on Tuesday when the Major Fours Competition began. Results are - (skips only) F. Martin d J. Stockham J. Munson forfeited to M. Edwards P. Light d H. Durrant R. Kean d K. Bassett K. Bain d J. Scholz D. Amor d R. Roach B. Schubert d E. Eames. Further games were played on Thursday of this week and the results are: - D Amor def K Bain - M. Walsh def B Schubert - F. Martin def M Edwards - P. Light def R. Kean. Due to the State Carnival the next rounds will be played on the 7th & 9th June.

Congratulations to the winners of the Major Pairs Championship which was played last Saturday between Lois Bishell/Beth Schubert and Rose Edwards/Elaine Eames. It was a very good game and the eventual winners were Lois and Beth. Congratulations to all players on a fitting final.

It was Jackpot day today and the lucky rink winners were -

There will be NO SOCIAL BOWLS next week - 28th May - 1st June when the State Carnival will be held. We would like to welcome all bowlers for a wonderful week of bowls where we hope you will make many new friends and renew old acquaintances. Some girls are coming as far away as Western Australia, Victoria and Queensland.

We would like to wish the Triples Championship winners Barbara Barrett Carol White and Judy Brady good bowling when they compete in the Regional Play-offs at South West Rocks on June 5th. Good luck girls. It is also Out of the Hat Triples day.

On Tuesday 12th June we will honour our President Shirley with her Official President's Day. List to go up shortly on the board. Also the Major Club Triples Championship will open next Tuesday and close on 19th June - play to commence on 3rd July.
