What a great day for bowls
on Tuesday when our Vice President Carol took care of us while President
Shirley attended Lake Cathie's Presidents Day festivities.
How lovely to see
our Phyl back visiting as soon she will be leaving Port to live in Victoria nearer
her family. We all wish her much happiness in her new home and we will
certainly miss her. Also breezing in for lunch was Colleen Slater who is
looking much fitter but certainly no fatter.
Lucky rink winners - lst
Lorraine Conroy - Nancy Kennedy - Fay Martin who had the opportunity of picking
the lucky number for the Jackpot. They were unsuccessful so the Jackpot will
increase to $390 the next time.

Nomination sheets are on
the board for entries into the District triples, fours and senior fours and close
on 6th March.
Handicap Triples will be
held on 10th April and the selectors have been busy doing the numbers and hope
you will put your team names in to equal the number 9. There is no entry fee
but please put an envelope into the entry box with your names and handicap
numbers.
Miserable weather at the
moment but do hope that those who are not able to get outside will be warm and
comfortable and feeling a little brighter.
