Port City WBC News 17th February

After a tremendous thunderstorm on Monday night, the sun shone brilliantly on Tuesday last for the second week of pennant. President Shirley welcomed teams from Westport, Lake Cathie and North Haven and wished all players good luck and good bowling. Spectators witnessed some excellent bowls from Grades 1 2 3 and 4 with mixed results from our girls.
Janine Stockham was presented with her certificate as skip of the winning team in the District Pairs event and duly congratulated by all members of the Club with the hope that Janine would take to her partner in this event, Morgan Solman-Stewart, her certificate as Morgan was unable to be present on Tuesday.
