Port City Men's Bowling Club report for the week ending 12th February.

Wednesday pm :- Washed Out

Thursday am :- $10.00 D.Paviour-Smith and J.Paviour-Smith $7.00 C.Banks and H.Durrant .

Thursday pm:-  80 Bowlers played in warm conditions  $10.00 C.Thomas and K.Williams  2 of our many visitors $7.00 K.Hall and A.Pascoe ,The Jackpot of $186.00 was not won by D.Lomas and F.Edwards .

Friday :- 80 Bowlers Played in threatening conditions. With the winners being :- $10.00 W.Francis and P.Webster $7.00 K.Scotney and B.Bryson.The Jackpot of $526.00 was not won by D.McAuliffe and P.Gilligan.

Saturday am :- $10.00 B.Barrett and P.Light   $7.00 B.Owens ,F.Schollum ,H.Durrant and C.Bowman.

Saturday pm :- There was a Pennant Trial this afternoon in trying conditions With day winners being :-$10.00 D.Lomas ,C.Murray ,N.Schwartz and G.McKay $7.00 T.Millward ,E.Dasczyk ,K.Lipscombe and C.Thornton .

Major Singles Round 3 Results:- P.Davidson def J.Whelan , G.Worley def J.Eccleston ,E.Rowsell def R.Towers ,F.Smith def B.Bryson ,A.White  def W.Jamison by 1 shot (31-30) , G.Russell def G.Lees.

Pennant trials for Grades 6&7 bowlers will be played on Tuesday 14^th February 2012 starting at 5-00 p.m. with dress neat casual.

Grades 3,4,5,6and 7s  will be having an in house trial on 18^th February 2012 starting at 1-00 p.m. with dress being club colors or whites. Please assist the selectors, by ticking your name as soon as possible to indicate that you are available for trials and pennant games.

Sunday p.m. 96 Players took to the greens in hot & humid conditions with a number of visitors enjoying the hospitality of the Port City Club members. A big welcome to All our Visitors .The Jackpot of $90.00 was not won next time Jackpot will be $120.00 .

The first round of  season 6  of corporate bowls started on Thursday afternoon with 28 Teams involved, We are undoubtedly the corporate and barefoot leaders in promoting lawn bowls in the Port Macquarie District.

Upcoming Events :- Sunday the 19^th from 10am till 12noon we are having An Open Day With Jumping Castle for the kids and a Junior Exabition Match with some of our up and coming juniors .Free Intoduction Coaching for any one Interested in having a go at Lawn Bowls .
