The triples are progressing well with two more games being played John Brown, Budgie Brecard and Charles Doyle def Stewart Rogan, Jeff Dixon and Peter Ryan, Dean Gemmell, Trevor Robb and Terry Miles def Warren Barnes, Jeff Wylie and Trevor Boyle.
There is an entry sheet on the board for the minor singles entries close on the 5th of September.
Wednesday social and picking up the loot was Keith Nichols, Ian Hodgkinson and won’t you come home Bill Bailey, the runner up money went to John Jarvis, Graham Williams and Rocky Davis. Voucher winners were John Hilton, Tony Austin, Rocky Davis and Stewart Rogan.
Monday monthly pairs are on the 7th of September this is an open event men, women and mixed starting at 9am uniform dress is required, grab a mate and be in with the chance to win the jackpot of $1,000 and it must go off if not won on the first draw then a draw for $600 will continue until won then a draw of $400 until won come on out to the friendly club and enjoy a day on the green.
Saturday cashpot triples and in 1st place Keith O’Connor, Mick Stuttard and Rocky Davis, 2nd spot went to Brian Perkins, Greg Arndell and Ellery Ross, third Joyce Nichols, Keith Nichols and George Wise. Voucher winners were Ellery Ross, Tony Austin, Greg Arndell and Rocky Davis.
