Lake Cathie Men’s Bowling Club
Week ending Sunday 24th November 2019
With the pall from the bushfires, attendances have been down a little. However on Monday a good game was enjoyed by all and Bob Kohut, Bob Young and Brian Jux came out the winners with the lucky losers Glen Nisbet, Frank Gaukroger and Ken Tillman.
Thursday winners were Gordon Gray, John Morgan, Ken Taylor and Peter Slattery with runners up Bob Ruming, Allan Bigg, Roy Williams and Graham Conen. The lucky losers for the day were Ivan Bozanic, Paul Dewson, Keith Clarke and Dennis Hamilton.
On Saturday David Pateman and Graham Denton took out the honours with Lesley Perry and Jerry McHugh the runners up.
The combined ladies and men’s Presentation Night was held on Saturday. It was well attended and a most enjoyable evening was had by all. The Club Person of the Year award was presented to a worthy recipient in Ted Jobson.
Don’t forget the big matchup between the men’s and the women’s club on Saturday morning the 30th November at 9.00am.
