What a great weekend at the club 42 teams 3 full greens of triples with players from all around the district helping to make it one of the best at the club. The winning team Matt Barnes, Clay Parker and Corey Parker from East Maitland, 2nd Gary Douglas, Barrie Isaac and Phil Collins, 3rd Dick Croft, Phil Smith and Peter McDonald, 4th M Hyde, Russell Hill and Chris Fluffy Balaam and 5th W Haywood, Ted Wilson and Budgie Brecard. Round winners were 1 D Palmer, S Jackson and W Gore, 2 S McGill, N Kirkwood and T Holder, 3 Greg Brims, John Williams and Freddy Pearson, 4 Rocky Davis, Brian Charters and Chicka Thompson and 5 Graham Conan, Owen Gill and Les Allport. These tournaments can’t be run without the sponsors, bar staff, kitchen staff and the wonderful ladies who help with the morning tea’s and lunches, Barrie and his committee who worked tireless to make the tournament happen and last but not least the bowlers who came and made it happen thank you all.
The Christmas party and Presentation day will be held on Saturday the 14th of December starting at 4pm there is a sheet on the board for those who wish to come please get your names in early to help with the catering Santa will be there.
Monday monthly pairs will be on the December 2nd it is an open event, men, women or mixed are most welcome 9am start club uniform required come and have a day on the greens at the friendly club.
Bowls this week Wednesday social and Friday jackpot triples names in by 11.30 12.30 start both days mufti dress all welcome.
