Mechanical Bowling Arm Update

Paul Sloan (Port Panthers) is coordinating the Zone 14 southern section mechanical bowling arm (MBA) activities.

Click here for general MBA information on the Zone 14 web site.

Paul has sent the following news release.

"Hi Bowlers,

As you are aware the combined day at kempsey has been cancelled, but hibbards still on all welcome. This is probably not a bad result as terry brown and greg gill are in the process of selecting teams for the combined days from the list submitted of interested bowlers. Input from the skips re team combination and harmony will be needed. All others who want to play but don't really want to travel will be matched against these teams, some very good bowlers will give them stiff competition, should be very competitive.

Still looking at the singles comp, will let you know when date set, so we can start organizing competition for south rep selection.

december was also supposed to be at kempsey, but i think it would be very useful to continue at hibbards with team combination & with xmas just around the corner what do bowlers want to do? please let us know, kempsey or hibbards. THERE WILL BE NO DAY IN JANUARY.

we only sold 50 numbers last month in our 100 club, if you remember i asked whether you wanted a 100 club or a raffle, your selection a 100 club. These funds will be used a)to purchase a couple of bowling arms for new bowlers to try and b) to help finance committe members when travelling away representing you. We don't expect bowlers to purchase all 100 numbers but if each person can get their family, friends etc to purchase a few numbers we should be able to sell all numbers each month

don't forgot a bowling arm coaching day for coaches at sawtell nov 25th, full day given by alan starret, cost $20 club coaches only.

see you at hibbards 11th 12-12.30"
