Dress code for social bowls is club uniform/creams or clean smart casual, with collared shirt and neat shorts/slacks. No tank tops or singlets

Bowls Facebook page has been updated. We now have bowls streamed “live” from Port City. Listen to Phil “the Ray Warren of bowls” Baker call the shots

 A Reminder that Port City greens and spectator areas are smoke free.

In the Club Challenge our mixed gold team won through to the final and went down narrowly to Taren Point.

Phil Baker defeated Mark Parry on the last end of the 2018 mixed triples final.

Christmas ham raffles on again this Wednesday 12th with 80 hams to be won. Draw starts at 7pm.

Pennants 2019, Nomination forms are at the bowls counter. Please complete this to assist the selectors. I believe lots more names are required.

Presentation Day will be held on Saturday 15th December. Bowls at 1pm. Nibbles and presentations from 3pm. This the 2018 presentation so please, club uniform to be worn.

Last day of social bowls for 2018 will be Friday 21st December, starting up again Wednesday 2nd January 2019.

Travelling bowler news –
Christmas party is on Sunday 23rd December, breakfast at 8.15. This is a free day.

Don’t forget the men’s meat raffle every Friday, tickets available from 5pm with the draw at 7pm.  Ask for our special deals when buying tickets. Meat trays are proudly supplied by Coppy’s butchers Block.

Mike Rand left the$1000 in the tin.

Thursday:
Winners ($20) John Carn- Peter Gunn. Runners Up ($10) Ian Binder- Tommy Smith. Lucky Losers ($10) Graeme McKay- Brian Charman.
Col Halls unluckily missed the $300 jackpot.

Friday:
Winners ($20) Greg Clarke-Joe Piola-Ron Apps. Runners Up ($10) Rivers Murray-Henry Gontar-Terry Waterhouse. Lucky Losers ($10) Bernie Apps-Russell Carkeek-George Moss.
The $200 jackpot was not won.

Sunday bowls:
Xmas party notice- Sunday 16th December will be our Sunday bowlers Xmas party. Usual 1pm start.
Treasurer Warwick Kempster won the $408 jackpot.
