Happy New Year to all from the crew at Kew.
Friday’s jackpot did not go off so heading home with the cash from the rink win was Warren Bates, Ron Hale and Ian McLaren and picking up the runner prize was John Hilton, Frosty and Mick the bicky eater Ashford. Vouchers went to Rob Edwards, John Hilton, Rocky Davis and Trevor Boyle.
Bowlers please note that on the 19th of January all pennant sides are requested to be at Port City to have our first trial match please check the board to see the side you are picked in the trial starts at 1pm please be there early to have a roll up.
Kew Country Club Memorial Bowls Day will be held on Saturday the 16th of February with $1,200 in prize money featuring the Ken Kinman Shield and the Hancox/Jack shootout $2 entry into the shootout with the winner to take the $200 first prize. Entry fee for the day is $60 per team which includes lunch. Two games of 3 bowl triples 15 ends starting at 9am. Prize money 1st $600, 2nd $300, 3rd $150, 4th $90 there will also a lucky draw for $60. Entry’s close Saturday the 9th of February.
Wednesday social starts at 9am names in Tuesday by 6pm. Saturday cashpot triples names in by 11.30 12.30 start mufti dress all welcome.
