News from Port City

The news report from the Port City Men's Bowling Club is now available for the week ending Sunday 3rd May 2015 thanks to Colin Halls.

Dress code for social bowls is club uniform/creams or clean smart casual, with collared shirt, neat shorts/slacks.

Pennants round 8 was washed out on Saturday. At the time of going to print ( Sunday PM ) no details were available regarding the rescheduled date. Please check zone 14 web site or the club web site for details as they become available.

The draw for the major pairs (Corrected from major singles) on the board. There is a time change, with the first round now due to be played on or before Sunday 10th May

Forward event :- Friday 19th June to Sunday 21st June the Grade 6 & 7 2 bowl triples. Entries for this event close Sunday 8th June.

New stock of the new uniforms has been received. Check at the bowls office for prices etc.

The 2015 By Laws have been rewritten and are available at the bowls office. An extract as it applies to dress rules is on the notice board, and members are recommended to have a read.

Free coaching is available on Saturday and  Sunday mornings ( bowls provided). Just turn up at 10 am.
