News report for the Port City Men's BC for the week ending Sunday 28 September thanks to Colin Halls.

Dress code for social bowls is club uniform/creams or smart casual, with collared shirt.

Congratulations to Bryce Stewart on his appointment to the NSW State selection committee for 2014/5 season.

Also congratulations to John Hrabak and Greg Brims who defeated Phil Brown and Quinton Dalrymple ( Park Beach) 20/10  to win the Champion of Club Champions pairs zone 14 played at Kempsey Heights.

A great result. John and Greg  now progress to the state finals to be played at Nowra on 13/14November.

There is a members only day on 11/10/2014 with $1000 prizes plus mystery prizes and vouchers. Start 9.30am.

It is single entry 2 bowls triples, 3 games of 15 ends, skip rotates every 5 ends. $7 green fees, free lunch. There are over 100 names on the board so this promises to be a great day. Entries are still open.

There is a pennant players availability 2015 sheet on the board.

We trust the travelling bowlers enjoyed their trip to Gloucester this weekend.

Eddie Dasczyk (John Twidle) successfully picked number 16 to win the $308 jackpot. This is the second time in two weeks Eddie has taken the money.

Friday:-

Unfortunately no results available again, although Jim Burge just missed the jackpot which will be $600 next Friday.

Sunday:-

Jackpot of $ 90 was won by G. Mitchell.
