Port City Men's Bowling Club news report for the week ending Sunday 9th February.

It has been a great week for bowls with our greens running to maximum numbers. 

Wednesday :- $15 :- J Jackson, E Leonard & K Ison. $7 :- P Duff, C VerHoeven & B Nugent

Thursday  PM:- $15:- T Waterhouse & B Waterhouse,  $7 :- J Breen & P Flanagan

The jackpot of $486 was not won by the illustrious paring of M Glasse & B Smith. Try again next week when the jackpot will be approximately $540 and the choice between 1 & 16.

Friday P.M. :-  $15 J Bultitude & B Tait.  $7:- R Holihan & B Langham.

The  $600 jackpot was not won by R Owen & R Thompson. It’s on again next week with $600 but 16 numbers to choose from, good luck boys.

Saturday PM :- As Pennant season is approaching rapidly, trials are arranged with other clubs, today we hosted Forster for a trial and a great day was had by all. Good luck to all the Pennant players.

Sunday A.M. :- $15 M Riordan, N Lang & R Andrews   $7 :- M Rand & T Smith.

Sunday P.M. :- 66 mixed bowlers enjoyed the beautiful Port Macquarie weather again to play bowls and enjoy the company of their fellow bowlers.

The lucky bowlers for the afternoon were :-  1^st J Schiemer, B Hodgson & R Waterhouse ,2^nd E Eames,A Eames & J Wallis. 3^rd N Williams, F Williams & B Thompson

Lucky envelopes went to :- G Connell, R Thompson, G Carmody, J Lucas & R Owen

For all the up and coming bowlers, there is free coaching available to everyone (12 year olds welcome). Just turn up to the bowls office Saturday mornings at 10:00 am .

Coaching:- The pennant players are reminded the Bryce Stewart coaching is to commence on Tuesday 7^th Jan and are expected to attend if possible as per last Year.
