Port City Men's Bowling Club news report for the week ending Sunday 16th February.

The much needed rain eventuated this week putting a damper on bowls but as stalwarts, we continued on a little damp at times.

Wednesday :- $15 :- A White & E Rowsell . $7 :- B Tait & D Callanan

Thursday AM :- T Mitchell & J Edward

Thursday  PM:- $15:- A Pascoe & K Hall,  $7 :- K Taylor & N Schwartz

The jackpot of $558 was not won by A Newman & S Strong (tangles). Try again next week when the jackpot will be approximately $600 and the choice between 1 & 14.

Friday P.M. :-  $15 C Munday & R Apps.  $7:- M Glasse & G Worley.

The  $600 jackpot was not won by J Burge & M Wallis. It’s on again next week with $600 but 14 numbers to choose from, good luck boys.

Saturday PM :- No draw to-day

Sunday P.M. :- 48 mixed bowlers enjoyed the mixed conditions Port Macquarie weather put on for  bowls and enjoyed the company of their fellow bowlers.

The lucky bowlers for the afternoon were  

1^st N & F Williams & B Thompson ,2^nd R & M McCrow & J O’Brien. 3^rd M & F Edwards & J Brady.

Lucky envelopes went to :- M Green, P Brady, N Schwartz, D Holihan & P Hall.

For all the up and coming bowlers, there is free coaching available to everyone (12 year olds welcome). Just turn up to the bowls office Saturday mornings at 10:00 am .

Coaching:- The pennant players are reminded the Bryce Stewart coaching is to commence on Tuesday 7^th Jan and are expected to attend if possible as per last year.
