Port City Men's Bowling Club news report for the week ending Sunday 21 April. 
What an absolute brilliant week of bowls we have had for our 75th Birthday celebrations with fine weather all week.

Monday Mixed Pairs shoot out - Winners Sect 1st Jan Gauld & Rob Bradbury 2nd Bert Sainsbury & Judy Brady Losers Sect 1st Robyn Walsh & Terry Hodge 2nd Dawn Olsen & Paul Barry  Aero/Comfitpro raffle winner Lois Bishell.

Wednesday Men’s shoot out winners - Sect 1st Mick Hayes ,Brian Stokes & Ed Dasczyk 2nd Kev Carmody , Fred Mulligan & Bernie Apps Losers Sect 1st Len Grambau , Col Halls & Terry Hodge 2nd John Boys , Simon Stanley (Western Australia) &Geoff Worley.  Aero Bowls raffle winner Tony Newell. Thursday Shirts v. Skirts - 1st Marg Aird & Fay Martin; 2nd Pat Murphy & Pat Light; 3rd Helen Cooper& Fay Schollum;  4th Dulcie Holihan & Jennifer Munson, Aero/Comfitpro raffle winner Brian Collis. Results Shirts 295 - Skirts 267.
Friday am mixed pairs 1st Pam Ditchfield & Russell Carkeek; 2nd Bruce Thompson& Hazel Durrant; 3rd Dave Lomas & Beth Schubert; 4th Bob Counsell & June Harris. Raffle bowls bag - Barbara Griffiths; Jax Tyres voucher - Bruce Thompson .

Friday pm Men’s jackpot pairs - $15 Brian Stokes & Tom Smith; $10 Doug McGregor & Bryce Stewart; The jackpot of $574 was not won by Don Ramsay & Brian Crutcher. Next week the jackpot will be $600.

Saturday pm :- Round 7 of Pennant results :- Grade 1 Kempsey Heights def Port City 6-0, Grade 2 Westport lost to Port City  1-5, Grade 3 Port City lost to North Haven 6-0, Grade 4 Port City def  South West Rocks 4-2, Grade 5 Cresent Head def  Port City 5-1, Grade 6 Port City def  Kempsey Heights 5-1 , Grade 7.1 Port City def North Haven  5.5-0.5 , Grade 7.2 Port City def  Kempsey RSL 6-0 .

Sunday am: 132 bowlers.had a great fun game of bowls to end a wonderful week of bowls, and after lunch were entertained by one of the best acts ever. Rodney Vincent - what a great entertainer, had everybody in tears of laughter!
The raffle of a set of Aero bowls donated by Aero Bowls was won by Chris Munday

The Pennant teams for round 8 are on the notice board please tick your names to help the Selectors.

A reminder that in all club championships all players must be dressed in the same attire as per the clubs by-laws.

Don’t forget the Friday Night  monster meat raffle buy $5 get $5 free ,Tickets go on sale from 5pm .And our after bowls raffle on Sunday of $1,000 of meat trays. Tickets go on sale from 4.30 pm .
