Tuesday 12th February saw the start of the State
Singles.
Last week's State Pairs were washed out after the
first round and the remaining games were postponed until Tuesday 19th February.
President Barbara welcomed Elaine Sinclair back to
bowls.
The sheet is up for the Veteran's Day to be held at
North Haven on 8th April.
Helpers are needed for Barefoot Bowls on Thursday 7th March at 5.0 pm.
Also two helpers are needed for the Corporate Bowls
every Thursday night from 6.00 pm to 8.00 pm from 20th February until 20th
March. There will be a free Sausage Sizzle.
Hastings Relay for Life will be held 10.00 am
Saturday - 10.00 am Sunday, 16th and 17th March, 2013 at Stuart Park, Port
Macquarie. Entry fee is $15, and this includes a "Relay for Life"
Shirt. We really need your support, as we are short of entrants.
We welcome the non-bowlers to Morning Tea and some
of those who attended are Veronica Davey, Muriel Whitbourne, Val Grambau, Joy
Surrey OAM, Jan Goldman, Irene Turner, Beryl Young, Gwen Turner and Rosemary
Aylett.
