Port City WBC Weekly News 22nd November

 

 

On Tuesday 20^th November we held our Gala Day. The weather was a little unpredictable but apart from a brief shower and the normal windy conditions we were able to finish our game.

President Barbara welcomed District President Maureen Bradford and teams from North Haven, Kew, Comboyne, Wauchope, Lake Cathie, Westport, Port Panthers and of course Port City, a total of 100 bowlers.

Raffle prizes: - 1^st Gail Carmody, 2^nd Carol White, 3^rd Barbara Morton who also won 4^th prize, 5^th Maureen Howard, 6^th Ingrid Code.

$100 Club: - 5 $20 winners: - Beth Hicks, Doris Elwick, Diana Stansfield, Rhonda Evans, and Wendy Kennedy.

We also presented lovely Fruit & Vegetable trays to 12 Lucky Players.

Next Monday 26^th November is Encouragement Day; we wish you all good bowling and have a great day.

Normal bowls on Tuesday and after bowls it is the Quarterly Meeting. Please make an effort to attend.

Get well wishes to any of our members or their families who are not feeling very well, and we look forward to seeing you back at bowls soon.
