Port City Men's Bowling Club newsletter for the week ending Sunday 25th November.

Wednesday pm :- 96 bowlers with the day winners :- $15  Keith Edward, Kevin Hercus & Frank Edwards;  $10 Tony Smith, Terry Hodge &  Bruce Duncombe .

Thursday am :- $10 Jenny Wallis  & Mary Norman; $7 Pam Ditchfield & Fay Martin. The final of the mixed fours was played between Morgan Solman-Stewart’s team & Jim Cranna’s team with the winners being, after a very close game ,Keith Ashdown, Lynne Stewart, Jamie Sallustio and Morgan Solman –Stewart def. Shirley Devine, Lois Bishell, Bob Counsell and Jim Cranna 20-18 .

Thursday pm :- 68 bowlers with the day winners :- $15 Ron Osborn  &  Max Lynch;  $10 Bert Sainsbury &  Jim Howard . The jackpot of $480 was not won by Bert Sainsbury  & Jim Howard but each received a $10 voucher. Next week the jackpot should be $500 plus .

Friday pm :-80 bowlers with the day winners being :- $15 Fred Rauch & Tommy Smith; $10 John Hrabak  &  Michael Burgess. The jackpot of $600 was not won by Al Baker & Ron Apps but each received a $10 voucher .Next week the jackpot will be $600.

Saturday pm :-$15 Wayne Sharkie  & Ken Taylor; $10 Carmel Daniels & Keith Scotney. The jackpot of $260 was not won by Judy Brady & Barbara Barrett .

Sunday pm :-Early Christmas party :-94 bowlers enjoyed an early Xmas .Day winners prizes :- Hillary O’Neille , Terry Millward , Francis Green , Pat Light , Maureen Scholz , Warren Riedel , Colin Temple , Judy Brady , Dulcie Holihan , Jan Drewsen , Brenda Burge , Beth Hicks , Peter Ascott-Evans , Elaine Hercus , Betty Hodgson , Bob Dugdale , Nolene Williams , Martin Wallis , Brian Ditchfield , Kevin Henwood , Elaine Eames , Neville Schwartz , Max Glasse , Denise Gudgeon , M.Carkeek , Rose Edwards .
