 Port City Men's Bowling Club news report for the week ending Sunday 4th November.

Wednesday pm :- 94 bowlers with the day winners :- $15  Ron Osborn & Neil Gavin  $10 John Twidle  &  Bryce Stewart .

Thursday am :- $10 Francis Fairbrother & Robyn Walsh . 

Thursday pm :- 70 bowlers with the day winners :- $15 Rex Holihan  &  Eddie Dasczyk ; $10 Max Glasse  &  Barry Smith . The jackpot of $272 was not won by Allan Eames & Keith Ashdown but each received a $10 voucher. Next week the jackpot should be $300 plus .

Friday pm :-76 bowlers with the day winners being :- $15 John Green & John Faddy;  $10 Peter Harper & (welcome back) Mal Pye. The jackpot of $600 was not won by Tom Cornforth & Brian Richardson but each received a $10 voucher .Next week the jackpot will be $600.

Saturday pm :-After a slow start we had a great day for the Jachlan Macquarie Lodge Freemasons Charity day with 80 people playing bowls .After bowls we had a auction which raised about $1000 dollars for the Port Macquarie Base Hospital Community Walkway plus all green fees donated by the Board plus raffles - the full amount will be in next week’s papers .

Sunday am :- Mixed Pairs Championship final between Garry Williams & Shirley Devine and Carol White & Allan White was a close affair with the eventual winners being Shirley Devine & Garry Williams Congratulations to Shirley and Garry .

Sunday pm :- 76 players with the winners being all $10 vouchers  1^st Gae Keating 2^nd Noleen Williams 3^rd Colin Halls 4^th Jim O’Brien 5^th Robyn Hehir 6^th Reg Lucas 7^th Beth Hicks 8^th Bill Code 9^th Marion Miller 10^th Allan Eames  . Next week the jackpot will be $120.

Upcoming Events:- Next Saturday & Sunday the Maitland Travelling Bowlers will be playing . 

18^th November the Mick Sallustio Memorial Bowls Day .
