Weekly Newsletter - 17th March, 2024

Wednesday Social Bowls saw Rob Tucker, Jeff Nichols and Rod Quirk grab the big prize, while Bob (Not The Politician) Carr, Keith Collins and Peter Laing took out the Runners Up spot. Bruce Gornall won the raffle twice, but donated the second one back. Other Voucher winners were Stewart Rogan, Reggie Robb and Bob Carr.

In the Saturday Cashpot Triples, Brian Kirkwood, John and Dean Gemmell claimed the big prize with two wins, make it two consecutive successes at the Cashpot. Bill O’Donnell, Jean Donald and Terry Duff claimed second place (W/L) while Doreen Barr, Maree Cini and Daryle Barr came third (L/L). Voucher winners were Warren Barnes, Viv Gunter, Mick Ashford and Brian Kirkwood.

Club Championship Triples were washed out, with catch up games to be played mid week, ahead of the next round being played next Sunday.

Next week, we have a special Seniors Day Event on Friday, replacing the usual Jackpot. This is an Open Gender Day, which is free to all seniors. Members are asked to wear Club Uniform (Blue or White). Please add you name to the Sheet before 11:30, with play commencing at 12:30pm.

Bowls this week are Wednesday Social starting at 12:30 (names in by 11:30). There is no Friday Jackpot this week (replaced by Seniors Days Event), names in by 11.30 for a 12.30 start.
