Who knew? Apparently Reggie Robb is a big Taylor Swift fan, and went to see one of her shows this week. Talk about “Live it Up” lol. Now he’s a “Swifty” he might bowl quicker?

Wednesday Social Bowls saw Dave Jones and Rod Quirk take out top honors, while the The Runners Up were Ray Pantlin, Andrew Richards, and Peter Griffith. Voucher Winners were Barrie Isaac, Dave Jones, Ian Poole, Steve McGregor, and Bruce Gornall.

In the Friday Jackpot Triples, the half jackpot was won by Bill O’Donnell, Jean Donald, and Terry Duff. Congratulations guys! Voucher winners were Terry Miles, Biscuits Ashford, Rod Fokes and Barrie Issac.

In Round 3 of Open Pennants the results were:

- Grade 4 Kew has a bye
- Grade 6 Kew def. Lake Cathie 62-39 to claim 10 points
- Grade 7 Kew def. Comboyne 64-46 to claim 9 points

Rocky’s team came from behind 9-2 and fought back to win 18-17. Great fighting spirit guys. Next week (Saturday 1pm start), Grade 4 play Lake Cathie away, Grade 6 has a bye, and Grade 7 play Port City away.

The final of the Minor Singles
was played between Ian Orr and Dave Jones, with Jonesy getting up 25-16. A good crowd watched a great game, with i-Orr fighting all the way before Jonesy came home strongly. Well done guys!
