In Wednesday Social Bowls Daryle Barr, Eddie McPhee and Barrie Isaac grabbed the fat envelops while the Runners Up were Reggie Robb, Rooster Darcy and John O’Neill. Voucher winners were Frank Raczka, Terry Miles, Ray Pantlin and Peter Laing.

In the Saturday Cashpot Triples, Paul Cini, Howard Burrows and Gary Hamilton took out first prize (W/W). Ian Orr, Frank Raczka and Rod Quirk claimed second prize (W/L), while Marg Ashford, Steve McGregor and Mick Ashford claimed third (L/L). Voucher winners were Fishing Rod Quirk, Biscuits Ashford, Frank Raczka and Warren Barnes.

The first round of Handicapped Pairs has now been played, and once again saw some great games. The game between Rogan/Davis and Richards/Cini was a spectacular battle, with a lot of close measures, but Stewart Rogan and Rocky Davis took a 14-12 lead, then won the next 3 ends to lead 17-12. In an amazing comeback, Andrew Richards and Paul Cini managed to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat, claiming 6 shots in the last end, to win 18-17. The full results of Round 1 were:

- Brad Conway/Gary Cheers def. Darren Darcy/Cliff Kerr 23-9
- Andy Richards/Paul Cini def. Stewart Rogan/Rocky Davis 18-17
- Brian Kirkwood/Frank Raczka def Viv Gunter/Peter Griffith 19-18

It's likely to be a quiet week this week, as a lot of our rowdy bowlers are heading to Guyra. There could be a few sore heads amongst them, and we await their return to hear about all the fun and antics.
