Wednesday Social Bowls saw Dave Harvey, Cliff Kerr and Steve McGregor take out the big prize. They also managed to score nine shots in one end, to the shock of their opponents. Runners Up were Adrian Hilton, Brett Irwin and Rod Quirk. Voucher winners Reggie Robb, Rooster Darcy scored a double yoker again, and Paul Cini grabbed the final voucher.

In the Friday Jackpot Triples, the jackpot wasn’t won, so it continues to grow. The winners were Reggie Robb, Ian Hodgkinson and Dean Gemmell. The Runners Up were Doreen Barr, Daryle Barr and Paul Cini. Lucky Vouchers winners were Ian Poole, Peter Mauger, Frank Raczka, and Jean Donald.

Club Major Singles Semi Finals were played this week. Barrie Isaacs put up a masterful performance to win against Stewart Rogan 25-13. Stewart played great bowls, but “The Master” seemed to find a way to consistently get his bowls marginally closer to the jack. In the other Semi Final, Gary Martin outplayed Andrew Richards to win 25-15. Congratulations Gary, commiserations me! This makes for a great Final between Barrie Isaacs and Gary Martin to be played on Sunday 12th November.

Monthly Pairs is played this Monday 6th November. The draw and team assignments for the Handicapped Pairs has been completed, and is now on the Club Notice Board, the first round being played on Sunday 26th November. The Classic Triples will be played on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th November. Barrie is still looking to fill a few spots, so see him if your interested. Also, don’t forget our Christmas Party will be held on Saturday 16th December, so put this date in your diary.

Bowls this week are Wednesday Social and Saturday Cashpot Triples, names in by 11.30 for a 12.30 start mufti dress. To enter ring Chicka 0423787325, Griffo 0413052684 or text Frank 0417698899.

In a recent game, Chicka reckoned his knitting needle finger measure is more accurate than a laser measure. Umpire Jeff Dixon wasn’t sure he could agree with this, so Bowls NSW has been contacted to make a call on this
 😂🤣
