Wednesday Social Bowls saw Tich Bergin, Dave Harvey and Peter Griffith claim the winners podium. Runners Up were Darren (Rooster) Darcy, Bob Carr and Phil Collins. Voucher winners were Dave Napper, Peter Laing, Ian Orr and Frank Raczka.
In the Saturday Cashpot Triples Dave “Nackers”, Chicka Thompson and Kim Thompson took first prize with two wins. Barrie Isaac, Pete Laing and John Hilton claimed second prize (W/W), while Jonesy’s Angels (Frank Raczka, Andrew Richards and Jonesy) claimed third (L/L). Voucher winners were Viv Gunter, Doreen Barr, Rod Quirk, and not to be forgotten, Steve McGregor. Chicka and Jonesy seemed excited to talk about going to Warilla next year (see photos). Kim seemed a little surprised by what they were planning.
In the final of the Club Championship Pairs held last week, Milesy was overheard asking for a bucket of water. Chicka volunteered to get him a jug, but Milesy insisted on a bucket, so that he could put Charle’s fire out!!!!!
The draw for the Club Championship Singles is now on the Notice Board, with games commencing at 9am and 1pm on Sunday 8th of October. Check out the roster and get those bowls polished.
