In Wednesday Social Bowls, Mick (Biscuits) Ashford put down a wrong bias and to the amusement of spectators, had to fine himself ! Wednesdays winning team was Peter Mauger, Bob Sims and Peter Laing. The Runners Up were Daryl Barr, Chicka Thompson and Brian Bradley. Voucher Winners were Bob Simms, Brad Conway, Peter Griffith and Wayne Thrussell.

Men's Division 4 Pennants saw Kew Blue come away from Sawtell with all the points. Team F.Raczka / B.Irwin / D.Jones / R.Davis won their game 20-14, and team A.Hilton / A.Richards / S.Rogan / P.Ryan won their game 23-13, the Master Board being taken by Kew Blue 43-27. This opens the door for Kew Red to win the zone if they can beat Sawtell when they play them at home next Thursday.

In the Saturday Cashpot Triples Kim Thompson, Chicka Thompson and Peter Griffith took the top honours with two wins. There was a draw for second prize, with B.Kirkwood/J.Gemmell/D.Gemmell sharing the cash with C.Cheers/M.Cini/G.Cheers. Third Prize went to Frank Raczka, Peter Laing, and Rocky Davis, however a protest was lodged by Stewart Rogan. The stewards (Frank Raczka) were called in, but after close examination the original result was upheld. If Stewart was the steward, instead of Frank, then the result may have been different .

It would be fantastic to see some support for Kew Red in the pennants game starting at 11:30am next Thursday, so come and see a great game and support the lads.
