The final of the mixed pairs was played on Thursday afternoon Sue Hardwick and Bill Bailey did battle against Joan Turnbull and Peter Griffith it was Sue and Bill who skipped away and looked like winning by a big margin but Joan and Pete had other ideas and they fought back to go down by 2 shots. Congratulations to Sue and Bill commiserations to Joan and Pete.Wednesday social and escaping with the loot were Jeff Nichols, Brian Kirkwood and Reggie Robb and Rocky Davis, the runner up spot went to Adrian Hilton, Stewart Rogan, Frank Raczka and Wayne Thrussell. Voucher winners were Ray Pantlin, Brad Conway, Peter Griffith and Peter Laing.
Monday monthly pairs are on the first Monday of the month. The 7th of November is the date so grab a mate and come and try your luck at the friendly club.
Wednesday social and Saturday cashpot triples are the bowls this week names in by 11.30-12.30 start both days mufti dress all welcome.
