Kew Men's Bowling ClubMonday monthly pairs and picking up the cash were Gary the machine Hamilton and Charles Doyle, 2nd Gary McLaughlin and Andy Lloyd, 3rd Denis Squires and Mark Hammond and 4th Chicka Thompson and Gary Ruprecht. Round winners were Ross Langsford and Jock McDonald tied with Brian Charters and Mick Ashford, Wendy and Barrie Isaac and Budgie Brecard and Rocky Davis.
Two games in the major singles quarter finals Charles Doyle def Dave Napper and Brian Charters def Rocky Davis.
Wednesday social and scooting out the door with moola were John Gemmell, Stewart Rogan and Ian Poole, picking up the runner up prize were Greg Armstrong, Rod Sutton and Phil Collins. Voucher winners were Robert Tucker, Brad Conway, Ray Elliott and Brett Irwin.
The 2021 AGM will be held at the club on Saturday the 7th of August starting at 10am office bearers required for 2021/2022 season are: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Bowls Organiser, Committee 4, Selectors 3. Other positions required from the floor of the AGM meeting are Flag bearer, Welfare Officer, Publicity Officer. Please return your completed nomination forms to Dave Napper or Chicka Thompson on or before Wednesday the 4th of August. After the meeting enjoy a game of bowls with finger food to follow after the game.
Saturday social and picking up the winner’s check were Reggie Robb, John and Dean Gemmell, the runner up loot went to Ray Pantlin, Leslie Faulstone and Ian Hodgkinson. Voucher winners were Peter Griffith, Leslie Faulstone, Viv Gunter and Davey Jones.
