The news report from the Kew Men's BC for the week ending Sunday the 4th of July, 2021 follows.

Kew Men's Bowling Club

Gary Hamilton and Charles Doyle travelled to South West Rocks on Saturday to contest the final of the zone senior pairs against Urunga all though they tried hard the Urunga boys were a little better on the day winning 20/15. Congratulations to the four of you on making the final.

Friday jackpot triples and the money stays in the bank as there was no winner and will be worth $296 on Friday the 16th of July. Rink winners were Ron Hale, Viv Gunter and Budgie Brecard, in the runner up spot Jeff Wylie, Steve McGregor and Rocky Davis. Voucher winners were Rocky Davis, Frank Raczka, Ron Hale and Charles Doyle.

A big cheerio to Howard Burrows who’s out of hospital and home recuperating after his opp in Sydney we look forward to seeing you out at the club soon.

The club triples draw is on the board, please check to see when and who you are playing.

Wednesday bowls was a no go due to the inclement weather.

The 2021 AGM will be held at the club on Saturday the 7th of August starting at 10am office bearers required for 2021/2022 season are: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Bowls Organiser, Committee 4, Selectors 3. Other positions required from the floor of the AGM meeting are Flag bearer, Welfare Officer, Publicity Officer. Please return your completed nomination forms to Dave Napper or Chicka Thompson on or before Wednesday the 4th of August. After the meeting enjoy a game of bowls with finger food to follow after the game.

Bowls this week Wednesday social and Saturday cashpot triples names in by 11.30 12.30 start both days mufti dress all welcome.
