Kew Men's Bowling Club
Notice to all Bowling Club members, there will be a special General meeting on Wednesday the 19th of May about the unification of men and women’s bowls. This will be an information session followed by the required vote the committee has also agreed to 2 free beers and finger food after the meeting.
The draw for the major singles is on the board please check when and who you are to play.
Pennants weren’t so good this week with the 3 grades going down 1/9. This week the 2s are away to Wauchope, the 5s away to Kempsey RSL and the 7s at home hosting Port City.
Monday monthly and picking up the cash were Gary McLaughlin and Andy Lloyd, 2nd Gary Hamilton and Charles Doyle, 3rd Stewart Rogan and Paul Cini and 4th place Brian Charters and Mick the bickie eater Ashford, round winners were Dick Croft and Phil Smith, Sandra Gill and Maritha and John Smith and Rocky Davis.
Wednesday social and scooting out the door with the cash Jock Wyper, Jim Hopcroft and Adrian Hilton, in the runner up spot were P Richards, Ron Hale and Reggie Robb. Vouchers went to Gary Hamilton, Barrie Isaacs, Bill Bailey and Ray Pantlin.
Friday bowls and picking up the moola was Frosty and Phil Collins, the runner up prize went to Esther Bailey, Bill Bailey and Robbie Edwards. Voucher winners were Dick Croft, John Hilton, Brian Kirkwood, Mick Ashford and Phil Collins.
Bowls this week Wednesday social and Friday jackpot triples names in by 11.30 12.30 start both days mufti dress all welcome.
