The major pairs are moving along nicely with two more games played on Wednesday afternoon, Peter Griffith and Mick Stuttard accounted for Steve Hall and Warren Bates and Bindi Notara and Greg Darcy def Denis Squires and Mark Hammond.

The 2s and 7s are keeping the flag flying in the pennants with wins on Saturday the 5s were beaten again at Port City with only Griffo’s team having a win. Next weekend is a double header the 2s are at home on Saturday and away to WestPort on Sunday, the 5s are at home both Saturday and Sunday and the 7s are away to Hibbards and Kempsey RSL please check what time the Sunday games start.

Wednesday social and heading to the bank with their winnings were Jock Wyper, Chicka Thompson and Robbie Edwards, in the runner up slot was Denis Squires and Mark Hammond. Voucher winners were Ian Hodgkinson, Greg Armstrong, Rocky Davis, Mr. S. Wellard and Gary Ruprecht.

Friday jackpot triples and the jackpot rises to $266 next Friday. Rink winners were Howard Burrows, Greg Darcy and Gary Hamilton, the runner up prize went to Steve Anderson, Chicka Thompson and Charles Doyle. Voucher winners were Frosty, Mr Stewart Wellard, Charlie Marendaz, Ray Pantlin and Jeff Dixon.

There is an entry sheet on the board for the major singles entries close on the 1st of May.

Bowls this week Wednesday social and Friday jackpot triples names in by 11.30 12.30 start both days, mufti dress all welcome.
