Pennant! Yep, it’s starts this week and after a
Covid wash out last year that’s very good news. Good luck, travel safely and enjoy your
bowls ladies 🤞🏼🙏🏼🤞🏼
Under 3 years Championship Semi final and Final
Tuesday March 2.
In the rain delayed completion of the semi, Chris
Baldwin and Kay Jobson gave us a fabulous display, with the game ending in a
very close result, Chris coming out on top.
After a short break the Final was then started, this
time between Chris Baldwin and Jenny Tucker. Jenny was holding shot on the last end
but Chris trailed the jack through to snatch the game. A thrilling end to a
close and exciting game.
ALL bowlers in the comp proved that the WBC has a very
rosy future with the standard of play very high. Congrats and thanks to all.
Social Bowls Rink Winners
Tuesday, March 2
Lucky rink winners were Pam Begley, Hazel Durrant, Ann
Butlin and Jean West. Runners Up were Marilyn Dewson, Nola Scott, Yvonne Howard
and Robyn Jones.
