Week ending Sunday 8th March 2020
Monday winners were G. Perrett, Glen Nisbet and Gerry Ludford. Thursday saw two teams share the spoils. They were the teams of Glenn Coey, Doug Rose, Ray Cravan and Brian Gorman and Roger Miles, Ted Jobson, John Fuller and Vic Hayhurst. The Runners up were Bob Ruming, Roy Williams, Keith O’Connor and Graham Conen and the lucky losers were Keith Clarke, Mike O’Neill, Gary Knox and Dennis Hamilton.

There were some good games in the Major Singles Championships played on Friday. Tom Reeves defeated Paul Dewson, Steve Philp defeated Harry Wegan, Gary Knox defeated Ron Thompson, Ted Jobson defeated Keith Woods, Steve Smith defeated Ray Stokmanis and Dennis Hamilton defeated Vic Austin.
Saturday Pennant results were rather disappointing with losses in all grades. In the 3’s Port Panthers defeated Lake Cathie by 8.5 to 1.5 , the 5’s went down to South West Rocks 9 points to 1, Port City defeated the Lake Cathie 6’s by 10 to 0 and the 7’s lost to Wauchope 8.5 to 1.5. Go get them next time fellows!
