Kew Men’s Bowls News 16-2-2020.

In the club fours Barrie Isaac team def Phil Collins side, Ray Allan’s team def Rocky Davis’s side, Peter Griffith’s team def Mick Whites side and Dean Gemmell’s team def Wayne Thrussell’s side.

Wednesday social and bolting out the door with the cash was Jeff Nichols, Frank Raczka and Reggie Robb, the runner up spot went to George Wise, Steve Hall and Rod Sutton. Voucher winners were Dave Napper, Rod Sutton, Ian Hodgkinson and Cliff Kerr.

On Saturday 3 teams went to Comboyne for a pennant trial and all had a great time no wins but a lot of fun.

Monday monthly pairs are on the 2nd of March this an open event men, women or mixed grab a mate and have a game at the friendly club uniform dress with a 9am start.

From all the bowlers at the club we would like to congratulate Wendy and Barrie Isaac on reaching 50 years of wedded bliss congratulations to you both and many more years to come.

The club pairs there is an entry sheet on the board entries close Saturday the 7th of March with the first round to be played by Sunday the 22nd of March.

Wednesday social, Friday jackpot triples and an inhouse pennant trial on Saturday with all bowlers to get a game please check the board and tick your name off if you are playing or let the selectors know if unavailable. The bowls will start at 12.30 on each day with nibbles after the trial games.
