Lake Cathie Men’s Bowling Club
Week ending Sunday 8th December 2019
Monday mixed bowls saw Ken Norberry, Glen Nisbet and Ann Norberry coming out the winners with Bill Bailey, Esther Bailey and Vic Ley the lucky losers.
On Thursday the winners were Tommy Reeves, Harry Weegen, Phil Innes and Ron Allen with runners up Ralph Crawford, John Kennett, Peter Steggles and Gary Jackson. The lucky losers were Steve Webster, Brad Yates, Ray Downes and John McCartney.
In the Presidents Cup run between Lake Cathie and North Haven Lake Cathie narrowly won the day with the score on the big board 70-68. In the Muldoon Shield Lake Cathie once again retained the shield.
Christmas will be celebrated by the Men’s Club on Sunday 15th December with a game of bowls followed by a barbeque for members with full membership. Make sure you have your names down.
