Weekly News

Port City will be hosting the State Blind Bowlers Championship starting October 11 and going through to the 13th. Phil is looking for markers. There is a list on the notice board for people interested.
Ladies bowls are being rescheduled from Tuesday 15 October to Thursday 17 th October to make way for the State Titles. So there will be no bowls next Tuesday.

Black Pepper will be holding a free Fashion Parade and afternoon tea on Wednesday November 6 at 2pm. There are only 20 places available, so if you’re looking for a good afternoon out put your name on the list on the noticeboard.

Encouragement Day is coming up in November. We are taking both single and team entries. The list is on the board.

There is a list of District dates on the board.

Carol White will be running circuit training from 4.30pm on Wednesday 10 Oct and Thursday 11 Oct. New players are welcome. If these times aren’t right for you contact Carol to arrange a different time. Margaret Doyle is available on Friday mornings from 10am as usual.

Saturday bowls this week 12 Oct is on.

Jackpot: The jackpot was won by R Biddle the winning skip on Rink 9. It will now reset to $100.
