Weekending 6th October 2019
This week on Tuesday 1st October 2019 we had the first rounds of the Major Minor Championship. The Results were J Howard ( Vera Hamilton was a sub) and E Fuller defeated M Simmonds and J West, M Dewson and M Duhigg defeated P Murphy and L Moore, P Monaghan and B Roberson defeated L Watson and P Banks, J Blackler and F Brassey defeated S Stokmanis and G Potts, H Durrant and K Jobson defeated R Downes and V Stewart, Y Howard and A Innes defeated O Hulland and C Balwin, D Lynch and R Jones defeated S Malzard and P Kelly, J Grimshaw and P Begley defeated D Fischer and L Matthews.
In Social bowls the lucky rink winners for the 1st October were P O’Brien, D Teiffel and A Butlin and the runners up were H Millard, E Mason and R Bigg. Then on the 5th October the lucky rink winners were E Mason, M Duhigg and A Wilson and the runners up were L Matthews, S Stokmanis and J Blackler.
Don’t forget we have the Melbourne Cup coming up soon and the tickets can be brought over the bar.
